As I come to the completion of my term as Jackson District representative
to the school board I would like to say that it has been an honor and privilege to serve the citizens of the county in this position. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank those people throughout the county who have supported me during my term and took the time to provide input and advice.
The past four years have gone quickly, yet the improvements in our schools have been many. The staff have been tireless in their efforts to improve an already superior system.
State mandates have been accepted and necessary changes have been made to accommodate them. We have developed a volunteer force that is second to none.
Headwaters, the public education foundation, is providing much needed funding so that our teachers can institute special
