The Flint Hill United Methodist Women met for their Christmas meeting with Thelma Crane on Dec. 20.
Those present were Rev. Merlin Shorb, Joy Shorb, Mary Frances By waters, Louise McCulloch, Athena Bywaters, Barbara Jamison, Mary Curtis, Barbara Gentry, Mabel Lillard, Artis East and Janet Eastham.
Dinner guests on Christmas day of Edna Lillard were Leon Lillard, Amy and Allison Lillard, Franklin and Catherine Hawkins, Edith Graves, Mark and Diane Graves, Wayne Graves, Wilson and Lois Duncan, Chip and Sandy and Sandy’s friend, David.
Johnny Vest of Virginia Beach spent the Christmas holiday with his grandmother, Mrs. Christine Vest. Rodney and Jo Vest of Woodville visited on Christmas Day.
David and Renee Calisto and Nikki motored to Takoma Park, Md. on Sunday to celebrate Christmas with his father, Tony Calisto and family.
Danny Lillard and son, Dexter of Selma, N.G. returned to their home on Monday after spending the holiday with his mother, Mrs. Mabel Lillard. They were joined on Christmas Day by other family members.
We wish all those on the sick list a speedy recovery, and hope they are much improved at this writing.
Ken and Cathy Ciestak and family of Ruther Glen arrived on Christmas Eve to spend Christmas with her parents, Ernie and Thelma Crane. Joining them on Christmas Day were their son, Mike and Tina Crane and Laura of Bowie, Md.
The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will have a New Year’s Eve service at 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 31.

Bill Welch and Elizabeth took part in the Living Nativity last week, which was held on U.S. 211 , near the Rappahannock Library.
