New bank hours
Effective immediately, the Rappahannock National Bank will observe the following business hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.; Wednesday 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Discussion planned
How much do you know about events which occurred in your own backyard? Discover some of the history of the Amissville area at the Amissville Area Community Association meeting on Thursday, March 9 at 7 p.m. at the Amissville United Methodist Church. It will include a presentation by a local historian and contributions by community members in the discussion that will follow. Association dues are only $1 and membership is open to all area residents. The meeting will also include planning for the Rappahannock July 4th celebration and proposed Fall Festival.

Directors to meet
The March board of directors meeting for Headwaters, the Rappahannock County Public Education Foundation, will take place Monday, March 13 at 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Extension Office. The meeting is open to the public.

Tax relief applications are currently being accepted at the Rappahannock Commissioner of Revenue Office. The deadline for filing an application for relief for the low income elderly and disabled is July 1. Call the Commissioner of Revenue Office at 675*3513 for information.
