daughters, Gloria Jean Dodson of Sperryville and Betty Lou Walter of Washington; five grandsons; seven granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.
Additional survivors include three brothers, Edward Clark of Washington, Charles Clark of Manassas and Ennis Clark of Lebanon Church; three sisters, Joyce Kollar of Vienna, Vergie Walters of Warrenton and Louise Bennett of Gainesville and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mrs. Atkins was predeceased by her parents; a son, Virgil Jackson Atkins, two brothers, Ray Clark and Elmer Clark and a sister, Helen Menefee.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, March 6 at Fellowship Assembly of God Church in Sperryville with Pastor Joel Cress joined by Pastor Lindbergh Atkins and Rev. Alpheus Atkins officiating. Interment followed in Woodville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Charles E. Thomas, Jerry L. Thomas, Wade W. Frazier, Mahlon W. Atkins, Bobby L. Jenkins, Ronnie W. Hines, James W. Keys, Jr. and Ricky S. Burfield.
