The Blue Ridge Civil War Round Table will meet Tuesday, March 14 to hear a Virginia historian discuss the Battle of Fredericksburg, which found Irish soldiers from the North and South facing each other in deadly combat.
Kelly J. O’Grady, a historian with the National Park Service, will speak on “The Irish Victory at Fredericksburg” at 7:30 p.m. at the Old Sperryville Bookshop in the historic village of Sperryville.
