• Students returned to classes at Wakefield Country Day School refreshed oif Monday after a wonderful Winter Sports Week vacation. While Headmaster Michael Vargo chaperoned a group of WCDS skiers and snowboarders on a trip to Wintergreen Resort, southwest of Charlottesville, for four days of fun in the snow, teacher^ Diane Wood and Aney Massie* Hoehn, along with several parents, flew north to Quebec for dog sledding, snowshoeing and other snow recreation! All returned happy and rejuvef nated, ready for upcoming activities at WCDS. ,
• Our WCDS sports teams are off and running, preparing for our spring sports season. David Judd of Front Royal, will be coaching our girls’ soccer team and Matt Lynn of Castleton, will return as our boys’ lacrosse coach. We are looking forward to an exciting season!
