An essay contest entitled, ; Thinking About Rappahannock: -y Today and Tomorrow is being sponsored by the Rappahannock National Bank, IVash Free Rappahannock, Hampton .; Foundation and the Rappahannock News.
As we enter a new century, this contest is intended to stimulate thought and discussion within the _ ; county about the qualities that « make Rappahannock a special -4 place and how to preserve what is * important.
There will be two age groups: j one for 18 and over and one for • under 18. !
Guidelines will be the same for , each age group. {
1. These are personal essays ] which should address two ques- ■ tions:
