Jim Gannon, president of the Civil War Round Table, said Mr. O’Grady’s talk “is a particularly appropriate one coming just as we prepare to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day” on Friday, March 17. The book shop is featuring books on Ireland and the Irish in the month of March. Those who wish to reserve a copy of Mr. O’Grady’s new book for him to sign should call the book shop at 987-8444.
The program is open to the public, but those who are not members of the Round Table should call for reservations, as space is limited. Coffee and dessert will be served at 7 p.m. and the program will begin at 7:30.
