Theft reported
A burglary at the Virginia Department of Transportation lot in Amissville was reported to the Sheriff’s Office on March 3.
There was no sign of forced entry at the lot, but a computer was reported stolen.
The theft occurred during the night of March 2 or early morning of March 3, according to Sheriff Sherertz. Nothing else was reported missing.
Dep. Mark Currence is investigating the crime.
