Organizers for Rappahannock County’s Year 2000 Relay for Life met at the Flint Hill Fire Hall on Thursday, May 11 to review and complete their plans. Each chairperson discussed his or her responsibilities for this weekend, paying special attention to the lessons learned last year.
At the close of the meeting, Cocoordinator Ben Atkins indicated that everything was on schedule and that he was looking forward to a very successful Relay.
The Relay for Life is an overnight community celebration of life, dedicated to present and former cancer patients, their families and friends.
