Clifton Ford Nicholson, 86, of Crozet died Sunday, May 7 at Martha Jefferson Hospital.
Bom Aug. 9, 1913 in Madison County, he was a son of the late Lewis Kemper Nicholson and Daisy Dodson Nicholson.
His wife was the late Florine Breeden Nicholson.
Survivors include two daughters, Rose Raines of Unionville and Sally Brown of Crozet; a son, James Kemper Nicholson of Louisa; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three brothers, Henry Nicholson of Fredericksburg, James Nicholson of Sperryville and Herbert Nicholson of Charles Town, W.Va.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, May 9 at Wolftown Pentecostal Church with interment in Holly Memorial Cemetery. Pastor Jeff Shifflett officiated.
Preddy Funeral Home in Madison was in charge of the services.
