Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Dennis of Jackson, S.C. arrived on Friday to spend some time with Mr. and Mrs. Ranny Aylor and Heather and among other relatives in the area.
On Mother’s Day they were joined by Maynard Nethers, Helen and F.D. Coffey, Bud and Virginia Corder, Michael and Karen Peddle and children, Shannon and Dale for a picnic on the Skyline Drive. ; The Aylors recently attended funeral services for Mr. Aylor’s niece, Ann Yates Grover in Springfield.
Don’t miss the airing of the new Dukes of Hazzard reunion movie at Cooter’s • Place on Friday night, May 19. iBen Jones, who played Cooter will be hosting a watch party with big screen TVs, free popcorn and peanuts and live music. The festivities will begin at 6 p.m.
On Sunday, May 21 "Five of a Kind” will be the featured •bluegrass band at Cooter’s "Place. Great country music by the Cooter’s Garage Band is featured on Saturday evenings. All are invited.
