Rachael Sharp was on the mound once more for the Panthers, she pitched all seven innings striking out nine, walking four and allowing only two hits. The two hits were critical though, a triple and a single to score Clarke’s only run. The Panthers would lose this game 1-0.
Rapp out hit the Eagles with three hits, Sonya Anderson, Rachael Sharp and Nicole McNeely had one a piece. Coach Payne said “We played great defense this week and did not commit an error against the Eagles, we just can’t seem to score runs and that is really hurting us right now.”
