The J.V. Girls Softball team picked up two more district wins last week. Rapp traveled to Nokesville to play the Brentsville Tigers last Tuesday.
Lara Kreyling took the mound for the Panthers. She pitched four strong innings, striking out seven, walking five and allowing •only one hit. The Panthers took an early lead and never looked back, taking home the victory 26-7. Brittany Thornhill pitched the last two innings, striking out two, walking none and allowing only two hits. The game was called in the sixth inning due to the slaughter rule.
Key hits for the Panthers were made by Ashleigh Burke, Molly Burke, Ashley Clinedinst, Lara Kreyling and Jamie Deal.
