Spring concert planned

The Rappahannock High School chorus will be holding its spring concert on Tuesday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the high school. All are invited to attend.

Car wash scheduled

A car wash wiltbe held Saturday, May 20 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the 211 Quicke Mart. All proceeds will benefit the Rappahannock County High School boys for basketball camp.

Scholarship applications accepted

The Wayland Blue Ridge Ministers and Deacons Union Scholarship Committee is now accepting applications from 2000 high school graduates who plan to further their education. Children’s Music Extravaganza set

Open auditions for children from elementary to eighth grade will be held on May 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Ki Theatre. “Take Your Hat Off,” a musical celebration of the founding of our country and the constitution will be featured at the July 4th music extravaganza. Everyone will get a part.

4-H spring pickins

The Rappahannock 4-H Dairy Goat Club is sponsoring a community yard sale and pickin party on Saturday, May 20 at the Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department. The yard sale opens at 10 a.m. Call 987-7206 to reserve your table ($10) and sell all those goodies from your attic or basement. The Pickin Party starts at 5p.m. with dinner sold to benefit the Sperryville Fire Department Auxiliary. There will be great bluegrass music to enjoy and a 50/50 raffle to benefit the Rappahannock County 4-H General Fund. Please plan to attend!

Open house at Belle Meade
