The first sighting of fall has been found. The Woolly Bear has made its appearance. It has been said the markings determine what type of weather we can expect for the coming winter. The colors are what predict the weather, more black indicates bad weather and more brown indicates a milder winter.
Dr. and Mrs. Wayne Thompson of Rochelle were Friday afternoon visitors in the home of Mrs. Marie Atkins.
Evangelist Wayne Thompson is currently conducting revival services at Beech Spring Regular Baptist Church at Sperryville and services will continue through Friday, Aug. 11 at 7:30 p.m. Dr. Thompson is well known throughout the area, and an invitation is extended to everyone.
