Rappahannock's own Cooter and His Garage Band, some of country music's best musicians, will be teaming up with the Rappahannock Historical Society at historic Montpelier in the F. T. Valley to put on a "Swingin' Country Picnic" fund raiser on Sunday, Sept. 24, from 2 p.m. till dusk.
Madison County's Pig n Steak will be providing the barbecue, ribs, chicken, potato salad, slaw, baked beans, you name it.
