Rev. George Obert Dean, 81, of Front Royal died on Friday, Aug. 4 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton. ' Survivors include his wife, Alfreds Dean of Front Royal; a daughter, Sandra Dean of Philadelphia, Pa.; three stepdaughters, Carmella Young of Philadelphia, Pa., Rosita Stokes and Charletta Griffin, both of San Antonio, Texas; two step-sons, Phillip Johnson of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Jerome Johnson of Philadelphia, Pa.; one grandchild, John Lemon of Philadelphia, Pa. ' Rev. Dean served in the United States Army during World War II. I Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Aug. 8 at Macedonia Baptist Church in flint Hill with the Rev. Howard Frye officiating. Interment followed in f ulpeper National Cemetery. ; Joynes Funeral Home, Inc. in Warrenton was in charge of the arrangements.
