Foster parents needed
Beverly Leathers, Director, of the Rappahannock County Department of Social Services has announced the addition of a parttime Foster Care coordinator to serve the county. This was made possible by a grant received from the Virginia Department of Social Services.
Mrs. Leathers stated that the Department has contracted with Barbara Willard of Amissville to recruit new foster parents and provide training and mentoring services for experienced as well as new foster parents.
"Mrs. Willard comes to us with a wealth of information and experience in all areas of child care. She is a veteran foster parent and advocate for children with special needs.
