DUTIES: Gathers information and prepares draft of class schedules to include course information, faculty data and room utilization. Makes arrangements for use of all campus instructional facilities. Prepares correspondence, memos and other material for the Dean. Stays current in the use of computer technology. Supports registration of students. Enters personnel data into computer system. Supervises day and evening receptionists and operates switchboard when needed. Serves on committees as assigned. Receives phone calls and visitors to the office and handles their inquiries. Schedules appointments and makes travel arrangements for the Dean. Disseminates meeting announcements, agendas, etc. Records, prepares and distributes minutes as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS: Equivalent of 2 years of specialized training in office or office systems technology, specialist diploma or associated degree in office systems technology is preferred. Organizational skiHs, computer skills, accurate keyboarding using Word, good grammar, excellent communication skills, filing, ability to compose letters and reports, proofreading, phone etiquette, good customer service skills, good work ethic, ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure and the ability to learn and use new computer software. Minimum Starting Salary is $21,657.00, plus full state benefits including health insurance, retirement, annual leave, sick leave and disability.
