Teachers are rested and energized. Students are excited and anxious to get started. And the rest of us are happy to assist in every way possible to insure that your children (Rappahannock’s children!) have a fun and productive year in the Rappahannock County Public Schools this year!
First of all I would like to thank the many folks who happily wrote articles for the Rappahannock News in this writer’s absence this summer. Each article was interesting and informative. I hope you found them as enlightening as I.
• On Aug. 20 the first day back for all teachers and aides, the Greve School Council, in cooperation with the Rappahannock County Public Schools, treated the staff to a morning of dynamic, inspirational and fun training to motivate us all to give your children our very best this year. The lessons taught were ones of mutual respect, teamwork, communication and fun. Ask any teacher, aide or administrator about the “Fish!” Philosophy.
• If your RCES student requires a special medication this year, please see our nurse Mrs. Linda Tbrrance as soon as possible to fill out all necessary forms and to answer specific questions about your child. This will insure that your child gets the best possible care while at school.
