We covet your prayers for those on our sick list, including Rosie Wharton, Jake Tharp, Grat Buraker, Katie Wayland, Elder and Mrs. Nelson Pettit, Lillie M. Johnson, Mrs. Deane and all other who are in need of healing for their bodies.

The 50 year reunion of the Class of ‘51 of Culpeper High School will be held at the Holiday Inn on Sept. 22, and if there is any member living in our area, call Danny Crane at 825-0821 for any more information or if you may be able to help in any way.

Family and friends in the Woodville area, as well as other places gathered for the annual Norman reunion on Sunday, which was held at the Rappahannock Park on Route 211, Washington.

Quite a number of our area folks visited Cooter’s Place in Sperryville over the weekend.

An “Old Fashioned Day” was held Sunday at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, in Scrabble with people wearing the dress of the 1800. This service was held at 11 a.m. and a bountiful lunch served at 12.
