Costumed members of the Rappahannock Historical Society will lead small group guided tours' bf the main rooms of historic Avon Hall at the society’s Fall Garden Party fundraiser on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 30 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.

This is the first time in 40 years the 200 year old estate will be open for a tour. Festivities include • an afternoon of history and dancing to the music of Cooter's ~ Sand on the grounds of Avon Hall, overlooking its pond in the Town of Washington.

The program starts at 2 p.m. With a dedication of the addition to the nearby Historical Society building on Gay Street. The dedication is open to the public.

Tickets to the garden party and tour are $75 per person.
