» Connie Smoot of ’ Sperryville recently *■ completed the 16-hour • ServSafe Applied Foodservice course and - received certification from the National Restaurant Association.
The course was ' offered by Virginia Cooperative Extension and Rappahannock■ Rapidan Health District. She was one of nine graduates this summer and joins hundreds of previously certified food handlers in this planning district.
Mrs. Smoot oversees the food service operation at the Child Care and Learning Center in Washington.
