Anna Gore Brown, 89, of Culpeper died Saturday, Aug. 25 at Culpeper Regional Hospital.
She was born Nov. 9, 1911 in Rappahannock County to the late Edgar W. Gore and Verde Johnson Gore.
Mrs. Gore was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, William E. Huff and his wife, Marie; her grandson, William E. Huff Jr. and his wife, Sharon and two great-grandchildren, all of Culpeper.
Additional survivors include a niece, Elizabeth Gander Michaels and three great-nieces, all of Front Royal.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Thomas L. Brown and a sister, Mary Gore Gander.
Graveside services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 29 at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Sandy Martin officiating.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
