Mrs. Johnson was, for 25 years, organist and choir director of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church in Spenyville.
An expert bridge player she was a member of two Spenyville bridge clubs and the R.C.B M.D.B. club.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold W. (Jake) Jones of Spenyville, and her son, Mr. C. E. Johnson III of ' Duneden, Fla.
Also surviving are her grandchildren—Elisabeth Hertzog Jones, Lynn Wood Jon^s, C. E. Johnson IV, Jennifer Leigh Johnson—and four great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C. E. Johnson, Jr.
A memorial service was held on Jan. 4.

William Dodson
Truck driver
William Jackson Dodson, 72, of Flint Hill died Jan. 5 at Oak Springs Nursing Center in Warrenton.
Mr. Dodson was a truck driver for many years, and enjoyed hunting and baseball games.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Anna Virginia Dodson; four children, Charles Williams Dodson and Joan D. Vaught, both of Front Royal; and Ronald L. Dodson and Roger A. Dodson, both of Flint Hill.
He is survived by five brothers, David Dodson of San Antonio, Tfexas, A. C. Dodson of Staunton, Charles Dodson of Falls Church, and Lacy Dodson and Lindsey Dodson, both of Front Royal.
Six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held Jan. 8 at Flint Hill Cemetery.
