Grammy Award winning pianist Lambert Orkis and violinist Lisa-Beth Lambert, who was a member of the National Symphony Orchestra for six seasons before joining the Philadelphia Orchestra in the fall of 2001, give the second in a series of three concerts comprising all 16 Sonatas for Piano and Violin by Mozart.
As Lambert Orkis will be using in these concerts a fortepiano similar to those used by Mozart himself, this instrument will act as a virtual timemachine, transporting the audience back to the musical sensations of an earlier epoch.
