For 25 years, she was the organist and choir director of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church in Sperryville.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jones of Sperryville and her son, C. E. Johnson III of Duneden, Fla.
Two of her grandchildren, Lisa and Lynn Jones spoke at the service.
