In February, guitarist Jimmy Bruno returns for his fifth concert here, this time with a rising young star on bass, Jeff Pedros. The final jazz concert of the season on April .12 is by the Bucky Pizzarelli Trio, with Bucky himself on guitar, Chuck Redd on vibes and drums, and Steve Novosel on bass.

Early in February, Grammy Award winning pianist Lambert Orkis and violinist Lisa-Beth Lambert return to give a second concert of Mozart’s Sonatas for Piano and Violin.

This will be followed later in the month by a concert in the Smithsonian at Little Washington Series in which the Castle Trio play music of Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven.

The last concert in this season’s Smithsonian at Little Washington series is on March 1 and features music of seventeenth century England performed by soprano Amanda Balestrieri and the Smithsonian Consort of Viols, accompanied by an organist.

In April the Klemperer Trio, visiting from London, will perform music of Mendelssohn, Arensky, and of Adolphus Hailstork, a contemporary composer from Virginia.

Currently the last concert to be scheduled at the Theatre this season is in May and includes music for violin and cello by Bach and Ravel.

The Theatre’s schedule is subject to changes and additions as the season progresses.
