Margaret Lee, President of ‘ the Rappahannock County Education Association, thanked Williams and building administrators for their "open doors" and the resulting high morale among school staffers.
She asked that the supervisors approve the budget and its compensation increases to assure staff stability.
She highlighted the need to support teacher aide pay supplements.
Sixteen others spoke in support of the budget, many of whom said that they were taxpayers willing to accept the additional burden of an increased school budget.
The one dissenting voice was Joe Reinboldt of Amissville who said that he was
