This spring a new wine has
been added to our collection. Chamois Blanc, a semidry white wine, has been named in honor of our 12year old wine dog, Shammy, who recently went to dog heaven.
Shammy was born under the floor of the Sharp Rock winery 12 years ago along with five other puppies.
We captured mother, father and all six puppies that were strays.
And our Rappahannock animal shelter did their usual great job of placing all the dogs.
Shammy helped us plant the vineyard harvest the grapes and make the wine.
