Madison came on strong scoring early. The Pink Panthers fought hard and finally came alive. Brittany Stephens was goalie for the first half and Bryn Sonnet for the second half.
They did an excellent job blocking numerous shots. Bryn even saved a penalty shot. Sierra Hagy scored the first goal and Joslyn Smith the second. The girls showed tremendous improvement and the final score was 2-2.
The next game is Sat. May 10 at 10:15 a.m. at the Rappahannock Elementary School against Culpeper. We encourage everyone to come out and root the Pink Panthers on.
The U-12 girls, the Blue Storm, sponsored by Ivy Cliff Farm, played Culpeper here at home. Culpeper only had eight players so Blue Storm won by forfeit. We lent them three of our players and ended up having a great time as each team only had one sub and all the girls got plenty of playing time.
