The Salem Volunteer Fire Department has scheduled its “Singin and Pickin’” party for Friday, May 2 at 6 p.m. As always food and soft drinks will be available by the fire department and the public is invited.
Our sincere sympathy goes out to the family of Gene Marshall Dodson who passed away on Tuesday and was laid to rest in Gourdvine Baptist Church cemetery on Sunday.
