A chef from Britain, Michel Roux, will be arriving here to prepare lunch with chef Patrick O’Connell at the Inn at Little Washington on Friday, May 9. The recipes are from Roux’s new cookbook.
Following lunch, he will offer a cooking demonstration at the Inn’s recently opened shops across the street.
Roux is the proprietor of The Waterside Inn, Britain’s only three-star Michelin restaurant.
Reservations for lunch are $98 person including a champagne reception. Tickets for the cooking class are $125 per person and include a copy of the new cookbook. Call 6753800.
Condolences to the family of Doc Robert Rodgers of Charlottesville who passed away at the University of Virginia Hospital on Tuesday, April 22. Doc Rodgers was a former resident of Flint Hill and had many friends in the community.
