The Eva Smith Memorial trophy to the first Rappahannock man or woman to finish the Fodderstack 10K race were won by Jason Waters and Nina Stamer, a repeat of last year’s results. Mr. Waters finished fourth overall with a time of 36:56. Mrs. Stamer improved her tune finishing Saturday in 43:41.
The Sperryville Bridge Club was entertained on Friday night at the home of Mrs. Dot Estes. Those playing were Mrs. Miriam Reeve, Mrs. Elisabeth Johnson, Mrs. Cotton Miller, Mrs. Celine Siira, Mrs. Lucy Ann Maeyer, Mrs. Eleanor Cordle, Mrs. Lucia Kilby and Mrs. Helen Brown.
