The Rappahannock County High School varsity baseball team picked up two wins on the week ending its three-game losing streak and squaring their Bull Run District record at 3-3. Their overall record is 5-7.
The team defeated Madison County 12-5 and RandolphMacon Academy 12-1 on the week. Against Madison the team exploded for 12 runs in the first two innings to take a 12-1 lead before the Mountaineers picked up two fifth inning runs and added two in the seventh.
Kyle Robinson drove in two runs in the first inning and Jacob Dodson and Jason Jenkins had one each for the Panthers. The team put eight runs on the board in the second inning as Dustin White contributed a tworun triple along with runs batted in from Noah Starks, Doug White and Mike Wiese.
