This month, 29 students from Wakefield Country Day School in Flint Hill were recognized for their outstanding performance on the National Latin Exam, with four students earning a gold medal and the distinction of “Summa Cum Laude” for achieving perfect scores on their examinations.
The gold medalists were Paul Beattie of Woodville, Patrick Dale of Luray and Michelle and Nicole Fegeas of Warrenton.
