Varsity softball
The varsity softball team remained undefeated in the Bull Run District with a record of 6-0 by defeating Madison 4-0 and Strasburg 7-0. Rachel Sharp pitched both games for the Panthers pitching a one-hitter against the Mountaineers. Brittany Thornhill had a big two-run single for the Panthers to increase the team’s lead to 40 over Madison. Against the Rams of Strasburg the team unleashed a 12 hit attack and Rachel Sharp, with the help of her defense, got out of two bases loaded situations to increase their overall record to 11-1 on the season.
JV softball
The JV softball team remained undefeated by defeating Madison 9-5 and Strasburg 7-2. The team is 11-0 overall and 6-0 in the Bull Rim District.
