Christina Norwood of Washington, Va. attended the National Young Leaders Conference in Washington D.C. during the last week in March.
This unique leadership program invites high school students based on their scholastic merit, community involvement, leadership contributions and teacher recommendations. U. S. Rep. Tom Allen of Maine welcomed the NYLC students to the floor of the U. S. House of Representatives.
Their week was filled with simulations working through many issues facing the nation today. The students also had the
opportunity to meet jjf. S. Congressmen or their staff.
