(53 points) narrowly defeated Buckingham (51 points) in the extremely close competition.

Brown leapt to a seasonbest 19' 10" in the long jump, but narrowly missed sixth-place (20' 02 J)") and a state qualifying mark in tough competition. Brown also competed in the triple jump and 100m dash, again in tight competition but missed qualifying in those events.

Albert Dodd-Henze leapt to 17' 7" in the long jump, off of his previous week’s mark of 18' 10".

Brown and Dodd-Henze, both seniors, finished the season’s final two meets with several personal bests and carried the boys' team in both the district and regional meets. They will be sorely missed next season, along with fellow senior Gregg Jackson.
