The Culpeper Chapter of the National League of Junior Cotillions will begin accepting registrations for its 2003-2004 season with an open house for interested parents June 1 from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Culpeper.
Keeping with the traditional social season, the upcoming dances will begin in September and continue through April 2004. The first chapter of what is now the National League of Junior Cotillions was established in Charlotte, N. C., in 1978.
The Culpeper Chapter, founded in 1989, and commended on three occasions by Gov. Mark Warner for its efforts during National Courtesy Week and for providing a formal flag retirement ceremony to the Amissville Post Office on the 225th anniversary of Old Glory, was the first modern Cotillion in
