Tbday, tens of thousands of students are being taught etiquette, ethics, and social dance in over 400 chapters in more than 27 states.
The mission of NLJC is to teach youth to treat others* “with honor, dignity and respect for better relationships with family, friends and associates.”
Everyday manners, formal etiquette, character education and ballroom dance are areas in which the students learn timeless skills in an ageappropriate peer environment. Dance instruction includes music appreciation, dance courtesies and the basic steps for the Waltz, Fox Trot, ChaChaCha, line dances and Swing.
Music includes classical, popular and top 40’s hits. Dances are held at Emerald Hill Elementary in northern Culpeper County and Culpeper Middle School. Two
