along with their daughter, Stephanie, who is marnea to Ricky Shaw. Shaw and his parents run Shaw’s Services next door.
Butler and his wife also have two sons—Douglas, who is a fireman in Fairfax County and lives in Rappahannock and Greg, who is a deputy sheriff in Culpeper County and lives in Culpeper. Butler’s grandchildren are in the Rappahannock school system.
Butler said he informed Sheriff Sherertz he was campaigning for sheriff. “He thanked me for letting him know.”
