Spirituality er teaching

Bus trip to see play

A one-day bus trip to see the “DANIEL" play in Strasburg. Pa. has been planned by the Washington Baptist Church for Saturday, June 7. The cost is $95 for ages 13 and up and $87 for children 3-12 and includes a ticket to the play, supper and bus fare. Call 675-3336.

Bingo at fire station

The Amissville Volunteer Fire & Rescue is requesting everyone’s support in weekly BINGO each Monday starting at 6:45 p.m. at the fire station.

Volunteer families

Volunteer Emergency Families for Children (VEFC) is looking for parents, single or married, to accept children ranging in age from newborn to 17 years of age. If you have a caring heart and could set an extra place at your table, you could make the difference in the life of a child. RCHS play on Ju ne 6 & 7

Rappahannock County High School will present a comedy, ‘The Man Who Came to Dinner" on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7 at 8 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Tickets are $5 at the door.

Sperryville’s carnival

The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department is looking for volunteers to help in the cook shack for its annual carnival set for June 4-7. Anyone who would like to help should contact Michelle Jenkins at 987-9440.

Gardening seminars

Field and Flower will hold a gardening seminar on Saturday, June 7 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. for persons wishing to learn more advanced organic gardening techniques.
