GRAND VIEW HOME: Top left, flames three times the height of the house greeted firefighters when they arrived at 205 Grand View Road Saturday morning. The following day, friends helped Miranda Plotmck remove what belongings they could salvage. Plotnick is in need of a home with easy access as she walks with a cane. FIREFIGHTER: Bottom left, Lee Felts, who usually can be seen in a Virginia State Police uniform, is a volunteer firefighter with the Washington fire company. He helped fight the fire on Grand 'View Road.
