Miss Annie Miller Almond, Washington, Va., has retired after 23 years of teaching in Virginia schools, mostly in elementary grades. For the past 15 years she has taught at Floris Elementary School in Fairfax County. The public auction at Sperryville ‘66’ Garage, operated by Charles K. (Pete) Estes, will be held this Saturday, June 27, instead of in July as previously advertised. The marriage of Miss Mary Norman Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis Jr., of Washington, to Reverend Park Price Dickerson, son of Dr. Lynn C. Dickerson and the late Mrs. Dickerson of Roanoke, took place at noon on Saturday, June 20, 1964, at Trinity Episcopal Church, with the immediate families present.
