Is the big high school gymnasium or band room possibly the refrigerator? Where is the analysis? Is taking kids on a three minute drive from the elementary school to the high school gym really an impossibility? Has anyone really devoted the time to carefully analyzing the scheduling possibilities? Is sharing a facility really out of the question? Why not look at it as a challenge to solve cooperatively? Obviously, I am not saying never spend money on buildings. If the roof leaks, it should be fixed. But if we had a good vocational education program, maybe the students could fix it. The fundamental “business” question is: what else could that same money do to improve the school?
