John Robbins DeBergh, son of Mr. and Mrs. James V. DeBergh, Jr., of Washington graduated Summa cum laude from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences of Virginia Polytechnic and State University, Blacksburg, Va., on May 15 with a B. S. degree in biochemistry and a minor in chemistry.
Tb attain this honor a student must have a cumulative average of 3.8 or higher. DeBergh was a Pratt Senior « Research Scholar and was awarded the Virginia Tfech 2004 Biochemistry' Research Award for his exemplary undergraduate research in biochemistry.
He was on the Academic Dean’s List, a member of the biology and chemistry honor societies, The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, and Golden Key International Honor Society.
