During Labor Day weekend of 2002, Cole McHenry, current owner of Copper Fox Antiques, visited Rappahannock County to recover from surgery. While staying at the lovely Conyers House bed and breakfast, she talked with owner Sandra Cartwright Brown regarding her furniture" collection which she had inherited and was storing in severed different states.
Sandra directed her to Alex Sharp, owner of Sperryville Cold Storage and within months, Cole had moved in to refurbish the existing business and bring her own style of antiques and home furnishings to Sperryville.
