The excitement is building. The Amissville carnival, sponsored by the Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company is on through Saturday, June 26 and the big parade steps off at 7 o’clock Thursday, June 24, rain or shine.
Some 110 units will march through Amissville: drum corps, local businesses, the Kena Temple guys in their miniature Corvettes, the bands, the citizens’ and church groups, and the nominees for Little Miss and Queen.
The carnival is on from 7 o’clock
